Sales Account Manager

  • Responsibilities

    Sales Recruitment

    • Prospecting and pursing prospects via phone and email: During the recruitment periods of an Xchange program(s), an expectation of 40+ outgoing calls per day to identify client development opportunities

    • Identifying client needs and interests, inquiring about details of current initiatives

    • Collecting participation agreements (contracts) from clients to utilize VerticalXchange services

    Client Retention & Relationship Management

    • Work closely with client to manage expectations of Xchange preparation.

    • Ensure that all aspects of our services and processes run smooth for the client

    • Assist with the matching process and preparation

    Travel Expectations (National – Continental United States)

    • Travel to industry events as necessary to meet with clients

    • Drive and fly to client locations for in-person sales meetings

    • Attend the Xchange(s) with the event team

Sales Support Coordinator

  • This is a full-time position with an immediate start date. VerticalXchange offers a benefits package including health insurance, IRA contribution, life insurance and paid time off (after initial probationary period). Compensation will be based on experience and capabilities for the position.

    Job Overview:
    The primary role of the sales support coordinator is to bridge the gap between the direct sales team and the operations team. The SSC will be responsible for client communication to prepare attendees for the onsite Xchange experience and follow up post-Xchange. The position requires heavy client communication with most of the time spent on the phone or virtual meetings and follow up via email. Some of the responsibilities of this position include managing freelance writer schedules and scheduling profile interviews, hosting onsite preparation webinars with clients, following up on client invoices and late receivables, contacting clients who have not registered their attendees for onsite, following up with attendees post-Xchange to gather feedback and assist with onsite meeting follow up, assisting the sales team with lead generation through online searching and CRM database management, assisting operations team with registration preparation and onsite logistics. Additional responsibilities and tasks will be added as company grows and position expands.

    Ideal Candidate has the Following Skills:
    • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Impeccable organizational skills
    • Efficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Ability to manage multiple timelines and tasks at any given time.
    • Responsible for their own job responsibilities and timelines
    • Flexible and adaptable to constant change
    • Self-starter and is internally motivated to complete their job with little supervision and who can plan for upcoming tasks without reminders
    • Ability to manipulate multiple lead lists into one manageable database followed by maintenance of controlled lead list and CRM by working with sales team
    • Team oriented and able to work with a variety of people
    • Forward thinking to anticipate next steps or foreseeable roadblocks

    Bonus Skills:
    • Efficient with multiple software platforms that may include MS Office, CRM, database management. Savvy technology research skills and ability to self-teach by googling solutions is important
    • Experience with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software, credit card processing, general accounting practices.

    Team member will be required to pass background check, sign COVID travel waiver, and sign non-compete / non-disclosure agreement prior to start of position.

    Team member will need to travel out of state for multiple days at a time to attend the Xchanges. Most travel begins on Saturday and return on Wednesday. Typical travel schedule would be 5 - 7 times per year but may increase as the company grows and adds additional programs.
